Good questions, straight answers
Your Questions, Answered
How do I book?
Ring (02) 9160 0340 and run through what's happening at your place. A couple of quick questions later, we'll have a time locked in, often before you've hung up.
How fast can a blocked drain get cleared?
Same-day is what we aim for on every call, not just the urgent ones. Ring in the morning and there's a good chance the drain's running clear by evening.
What counts as a drain emergency?
Sewage coming up through a floor waste, water pooling around the house after rain, or a toilet that flat-out won't clear all count. Not sure if yours qualifies? Describe it on the phone and we'll give you an honest read.
Are you really open 24 hours?
Genuinely, yes. A real person picks up whether it's 2am or a public holiday, not an answering machine passing the buck.
What does "$65 off your first service" cover?
It's taken directly off whatever we quote for your first job.
Could the price move once work begins?
It won't. You sign off on a figure before we touch a single tool, and that figure is what appears on the paperwork at the end, no matter what the job involves.
How do I pay?
Standard payment methods work fine on the day. Since the price is agreed before we start, there's no back-and-forth over the final bill.
What does "best price guaranteed" actually mean?
Our fixed quote is backed by that promise. Bring us a genuine like-for-like quote for the same scope of work and we'll match or beat it.
Why do tree roots block so many Bexley drains?
This suburb's canopy is thick and old, and it's the single biggest driver of the repeat call-outs we get. Roots hunt for moisture and end up wedged inside ageing sewer joints, narrowing the pipe a little more each season.
A blocked sewer, is that on me or on Sydney Water?
The short version: your pipework is yours to maintain up to the boundary connection, and Sydney Water manages the network from there. Ring us if you can't picture where that split falls on your own property; we'll show you on the day.
Why do older Bexley homes keep getting blockages?
Federation and interwar cottages around here were originally fitted with earthenware pipe, and after decades in the ground those joints tend to shift and crack. Roots and debris both settle into exactly that kind of gap.
Why does my drain block again after heavy rain?
Most of Bexley sits well above flood level, but the older stormwater pipework along the western edge near Bardwell Creek wasn't sized for the intensity of rain we get now.
Are you a licensed and insured outfit?
We are. NSW Plumbing Licence #292427C, backed by insurance that covers both our water and gas work.
Is it OK to clear a blocked drain myself?
A single fixture blockage is worth a go with a plunger. Beyond that, shop-bought chemicals and hired electric eels risk doing more harm to the pipe than the blockage itself, and anything recurring needs a proper diagnosis, not another quick clear.
Who actually turns up?
A member of our own crew, not someone borrowed in for the day. There's an owner who still works jobs personally, plus a specialist we bring in for the drain-and-sewer cases nobody else could sort.
What does the lifetime labour warranty cover?
The workmanship on the job, for as long as you own the place. Should a fix of ours ever fail down the track, we return and correct it without charging for labour again.
